Brittney & Scott McFaddenI have know John and his family since I was a little girl. Music has always been a huge part of their life. When I got engaged back in November last year, Cathie (John’s wife) reminded me that John had G3 Band and would love to play our wedding. Music is such huge part of a wedding, it really sets the mood for your guests. And let me tell you John and the rest of G3 did a fantastic job! From day one John paid attention to every little detail of the wedding, and he did his absolute best to make everything go off without a hitch!  Their music selection for cocktail hour and band sets were perfect for the mix of ages we had attending our wedding. I highly recommend a live band for any wedding! G3 preferably! John’s MC’ing had our guests laughing the night away and engaged in all aspects of our wedding. The band sounded great! We had guests commenting to us days after the wedding saying how wonderful the music and band were! It truly was a magical night, and John and the rest of G3 played a huge part it that! Katie & Sage Swain John did an amazing job at our wedding. He was so helpful in arranging the timeline for ceremony and reception and during the event kept everything running smoothly. He was even willing to make the trek to Santa Barbara! It wasn’t just John who was great though, my hat goes off to the entire G3 band. John is amazing and takes an immense amount of stress off of you. He’s absolutely thorough throughout the entire process. He officiated my wedding in August. We had moved up to the Bay area and all of our family and friends were still down in LA. Through emails, text messages and a physical meeting, we nailed down the ultimate playlist with the help of David “Tewks” Tewksbury and had a complete time line for how the wedding should take place, which went off without a hitch. Everyone at the wedding stated how much they enjoyed the music and how wonderful John and David were. Of course, to us, they are like family and we knew everyone would enjoy them. Thank you for being so reliable, professional, and just absolutely AMAZING! As always, you entertained like no other! I am so appreciative for your patience as I navigated hosting my first large COC event, and what a hit it was!

I have received so many compliments on the event, people had so much FUN!!! They loved the band so much! I heard things like “that is the best vocalist I have ever heard,” “this band is REALLY great!”, “who is this band, I need their information!.” People absolutely loved the music! And of course, I loved the music too and had so much fun dancing, and really enjoyed watching everyone enjoy the music.

Melissa & Zack Wims  John really came through for us on our big day. I have never seen a more energetic and pumped up audience than that night and its thanks to John and the music he delivered. He was a great MC and really cared about making sure everything was perfect. I am someone who didn’t really want a whole lot of MCing and even I was impressed. He managed to be on the mic exactly the perfect amount of time. My favorite thing was the fact he let me choose the music that was played during the happy hour and dinner portions of the evening. I hand selected the songs and he had no problem playing them. During the time the dance floor was open, John kept the party going. The 24 by 24 foot dance floor was packed for nearly 3 hours! The music never stopped! He played classic hits, group follow along, and even had a special slow dance song designed to get my grandparents up and dancing (They had been married the longest at the whole wedding). John was easy to communicate with and really brought down the house. I would recommend him to anybody who wants their guests dancing all night!  Thank you so much John. We had a great time and I will never forget that night!

Jordan and Brian SaltsThere is not enough praise in the wedding world that could justify the excellence of the work that John and his band do. From the first phone call with John, all the way to a week after the wedding, John made sure that our day was absolutely perfect. John made sure that every detail was accounted for in the weeks before the wedding. When I woke up the morning of our wedding, I felt that everything was taken care of and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. As for the day of the wedding, the entire day was flawless. Thanks to John, everything was right on time and everyone was in their place and knew exactly what to do.

Karen, their lead vocalist, impressed all of our guest with her ability to sing any song perfectly. The entire band knew exactly how to catch a crowd and definitely did a fantastic job entertaining our family and friends.

Greg & Erin Mueth John and The G3 Band provided a lovely and fun evening of entertainment for our wedding. We booked The G3 Band because we had been to a previous event they played that had been a great evening of music and dancing for all generations!  The G3 Band was extremely versatile and learned several songs that we requested and performed them fabulously! We have gotten so many compliments on the band from guests at our wedding. We also had the band play for our wedding ceremony. They  were able to adapt to a softer, yet still upbeat style seamlessly. The entire band was professional, classy and fun! They were the perfect selection for our big day!  John was great throughout the planning process. He was extremely organized and stayed on top of deadlines and requests we had made. John was great about listening to our ideas and bringing them to life. With all the services that John is able to provide he was able to emcee for our event and provide background music throughout the night when the band wasn’t playing. He created IPOD play lists for our cocktail and dinner hours incorporating songs we had requested and adapting the play lists to our taste and typical fan favorites. Cassidy & Brian Butow – From the minute I got engaged, I knew I would have the G3 Band at my wedding! From the start of planning, John was amazing to work with and helped provide much needed organization and structure.
